As the sun was shining, I thought I would change the air filter, good job I did because the filter I removed was absolutely filthy, even between the folds of the actual filter was caked in dust / grime / flies / bugs.
Car has just clicked over 59,500 miles and tbh it looks like it could of been the original filter!
All sorted now, but with hindsight ... I should have changed the pcv too while I was in there.
Another little job for tomorrow then.
Was going to change the fuel filter tomorrow too, is there a procedure for bleeding / purging the diesel system prior to starting or is it a self bleeding job.?
