Having previously used supermarket fuel I have found branded fuel gives better mpg. I asked my oilman what the difference was. He said the supermarkets hit the additive buttons, biofuel etc at the oil suppliers, whereas they just get the regular diesel. My mechanic swears by BP Ultimate especially if your car isn’t running right on supermarket fuel.
