warmed up a bit and with help from a Plastic Clamp managed to disconnct the auto box plug and cheacked all the reisitance values.
Hardest bit is getting the plug in a postion where you can actually grsap it to turn the top bit and undo it .
But all Values bar one were bang i nthe middle..
Guess which one
2/4 Duty Solenoid .. pins 18/16 ... should be 2.6-3.3 ohms and reads 1.65 ... so not far out .. but ..
And since I've disturbed the plug and had the battery disconnected, the car is driving smooth again ( for the moment)
