Yesterday with switch still in but previously sprayed contacts with cleaner, had the Alarm go off twice , once on each journey to work and back and both after about 3/4 miles from start . ( time or distance related ?

This morning unplugged the switch will see how that goes ...
If the car is unlocked with the Fob the Alarm does give a single chirp .
And I found that just spraying switch cleaner on the plug End causes the alarm to activate ,then it takes a fair bit of button pressing to get it to go off.
Cleared all the codes/reports with Toaf and will have a looksee tonite to see if anything has returned
