Hydrocarbons? Carbon monoxide? Carbon Dioxide? NOX? Particulates? Sulphur compounds? Volatile Organic Compounds?

Not that long ago diesels were the best thing since sliced bread......

And how are we going to get an agreement on the overall ratio of any one of them to any/all of the others?

I think the "cost" should be based on the overall "cost" to the planet, based on everything that happens from conception to grave.

And it needs to be a worldwide standard otherwise we'll just be shooting ourselves in the foot.

But like you say..... It's all about the money.
