Had a couple of good days over the xmas period and the rear is now complete apart from setting the handbrake.
I will split this into 3 posts (suspension, electrics and brakes)
Suspension build up. Ignore the calipers I just placed them in position so I could run everything in. The paint I used a couple of years ago didnt hold up too well so some remedial work required when i finish
As the upper arms were fitted before i fitted the rear subframe (ex torquing down final settings) the first thing to fit was the trailing arm and spring.
The spring was fitted with the insulators fitted to the spring then the bottom insulator fitted to the upper arm through the cam hole and twisted 90 degrees. Strangely the passenger side arm to spring was dead easy to fit but the drivers side was a pig. Both arms were bought from DMGRS but one over 12 months ago and the other a couple of months ago so i suspect a slight pattern change.

Another interesting thing I noticed was that I marked the position of the trailing arm brackets to the car underside. The drivers side bracket was set fairly central but the passenger side was set canted over so the trailing arm was being pushed out. Now I had not noticed any undue tyre wear but have I driven enough miles?
I fitted the passenger side trailing central as the drivers side as I will gte 4 wheel geometry alignment done once complete.
I hung the rear of trailing arm on the upper arm but did not tighten anything

Next up I fitted the shock. The trailing arm had to be lifted slightly to align the lower bolt into the trailing arm. I also kept the ZT dampers (not sure they do anything?)

The spring sat quite nicely with the shock fitted

Next up I fitted the ARB but did not torque any of the fastenings.

Finally the lower arm was fitted (again not torqued)

Both side fitted as per above and all the suspension components are in place.
