One of the body side trim strips on my monogram ZT-T has picked up a tiny scratch.
Now, underneath the paint looks quite shiny and I'm wondering if the strip is exactly the same chrome plated one used on the Rover 75.
Does anyone know for sure if this is actually the case or if it's just shiny because it's freshly exposed.
If it is chrome plated I'm tempted to buff all the paint off and have the strip match the door handles.
Has anyone done this?
What does it look like?
Are you happy with the result?
As I said, I'm really tempted, but I'm terrified I'll hate it & end up having to respray the strip.
HELP!?!
