I think its another thing where I get lazy. All cars have features for lazy people like me. Auto headlamps , self opening boot etc etc

What you need is a Ford KA 52 plate.. My neighbour has one and it's that basic it's lucky it's got a steering wheel, and certainly nothing automatic on it lol
I do think a few members will find it a useful mod though, so I'm not knocking it at all. GGood on you for putting the time and effort in.
