I have a small leak from the intercooler seals but not serious enough for me to consider doing. He said it could be this? Anybody comment? Anybody done this mod and found extra noise?
I've done the intercooler O rings and the EGR. I fitted an EGR bypass. My original O rings had a very slight leak. Neither item made any difference to engine noise, that I noticed.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.
