Saw a diesel expert today who says there is nothing major wrong. Sounds like a breathing, booster problem and suggested I check all the intercooler/inlet tract and the EGR. Suggested it might be the removal of the EGR hose which I did a few weeks ago as recommended by some members.
I have a small leak from the intercooler seals but not serious enough for me to consider doing. He said it could be this? Anybody comment? Anybody done this mod and found extra noise?
