I had an idea that water was getting in the boot of the silver one, so today I had a nose round the area where I thought it was coming from......the rear boot hinge area. I cleaned all the grunge away from the hinge area where it meets the the side of the body/wing. I then sprayed WD 40 down the sealing point of the wing/body where the hinge for the boot fits. After a short while, the WD40 had found its way through to the inside of the boot. I then got some Waxoyle on the end of a screwdriver and tapped it down into the gap at the back of the hinge where it meets the wing side. Will wait to see if it works tomorrow because we are supposed to be having rain........again.
