Hi Mark.
I checked the hose I have which is used for the EGR, and I found one piece to be 2.7 to small one piece 3.2 which fts but is very tight, I also measure the solenoid outlet and it's 4.59mm so I would suggest that 4.5 is the ideal hose to purchase.
