Hi Steve,

not a good day, pulled out the locking clip and dropped it !!! grrrrrr

Playing with my new toy, an endoscope which I bought to look for an under floor board water leak, I can see only 2 pins coming out of the alternator, but I did manage to read the following from a plate on the alternator.

YLE000260

2542797A

14V 70 / 120A

so from this I assume its the 2 pin version that i need ......
