All these symptoms can come from a lack of coolant, and leaking inlet seals or oil cooler
Go easy on the moaning until you have done the basics, like filling the radiator and bleed it! You don't need a garage for that.
Set the screen to show temperature when you try it, it is far more reliable than the gauge. Trip re-set 19 presses and another 7.
And check your cooling fan.
If that does not help, then start worrying about more serious issues, but don't go through that negativism before you know what you are dealing with.
