Update. She has been in to have the suspension looked at (quel horreur!) and has been on their diagnostic computer.
Apparently the fault is in the variable valve timing. Steve, the mechanic, thinks it is a very expensive job to fix. I asked if it might be the upper inlet manifold (the VIS motors aren't working
).
He said he didn't think so, he thinks it is to do with the timing belts.
Please can anyone shed any light? Big Russ, Brian?
