Blimey! Our three cats just tried to jump through the conservatory door window!
We have a big laurel tree in the garden with two blackbirds nesting in it, The chicks are just fledging & I was watching one on the lawn when a sparrowhawk swooped down & grabbed the young bird pinning it to the lawn that's when our three cats went mental trying to get out
I've been watching these blackbirds for weeks & have kept our one cat indoors that goes out until they fledge, I thought I have to help it and ran to the lawn luckily the sparrowhawk dropped it and flew off, it survived minus a couple of feathers missing
There's a multitude of wood pigeons on our roof that it can have for tea
There's no shortage of those around here.
