We're using a super pitch in April and I wanted to take advantage of the mains water. The Aqua-roll ballcock assembly is cheaper, but mine doesn't have the side hole/opening.
Any feedback would be welcome.

Yep...they work well and takes the strain out of going to collect water every day! Worth the outlay!
