Hi Rob.
I would check the hoses too especially where the joint is as in the photo below.

You can see the corrosion that can be hidden behind the rubber.

I am wondering if using jet wash in the wheel arch could add to this problem along with salt on the roads. ?

As you can see the rubber seal is just that around the hose and the metal joint.

Through the corrosion the hose was just blasted apart.

I have now refurbished another caliper for the NS which i hope to fit the weekend, also refurbished the original i took off.
