I don't think you could get that in normal mixed driving but I reckon on a long motorway run at a steady 62 (seems to be when mine settles into top) you'd get 40+
I averaged 34 on holiday in Cornwall and considering the poor mpg I must have got slogging round the local hills and backroads in the tourist traffic I must have got something pretty decent on the motorway.
Next time I'm doing a decent run I'll have to accept the challenge :¬)

Mind you, I came back from Gatwick round the M25 and spent most of the time between standstill and 30mph :¬(
