The 12 was just basically a barbecue bottle and was pointless, the 4.5 and 3.9 were steady little bottles that many used and it's strange to think they're going. As people seem to want a small bottle, why not get a 907 or a 904 Camping Gaz bottle, a screw in regulator will be required, but they're around the same size as a 4.5 and can be bought all over Europe which makes them a much better option for travelling or small scale use.
There are people that fill their own cylinders and I've seen more than my share of those same people with burns, I won't say how it's done as it's dangerous.

Cost, Camping GAZ is way more money. No idea why.
