As for connecting it directly to the BM54......... HELP?

Could you possibly point me in the right direction as to how I can accomplish this? Would I be correct in one of my earlier musings as to be able to splice into the adapter cable from round to flat pin? I did plan on adding the clock module in if I could find the relevant information, and the adapter loom seems ideally suited to it as I can work on it away from the car.

I freely admit mucking about with wiring is an achilles heel, so any foolproof info appreciated
Honestly it's been quite a while since I did it, but I did as you intend to, splicing into the adapter from round to flat pins so the original car loom is still intact (didn't want to make changes to the car loom in case I, or someone else, would have wanted to revert it back to original).
I remember just picking up the wiring matching diagram between flat and round pins systems and splicing the adapter where needed to get the audio/ibus/power/gnd wires for the Intravee.
The 3-pin and 6-pin plugs for the Intravee were sourced from eBay.
I have the clock module as well.
