i hope that you got a good night's sleep. Consider taking a day off from car repairs today. If the weather's good where you are, tidy the garden or go out for the day. I did warn you that you'd be in for a long haul with this one. It will not seem so bad if you let your mental batteries recharge for a short while.

Now, the problem you encountered with the bleed screw is not major is it, and it certainly does not justify involving a garage. Drain the coolant, remove the hose and identify what's wrong and see if you can repair it. If not, buy a replacement hose from Rimmer Brothers and fit it then continue with the task of trying to flush out all the K-seal. I'm afraid that there is no easy solution to what has been done to this car. A garage is not the answer.
