as mentioned in other places TOAF will only handle Com ports 1 to 4 . you have to use Windows device manager to change the com no of your connection cable.

Using XP.
I have deleted all unused hidden serial ports.
The Bluetooth is now COM3 & COM4.
In TOAF, the only selectable COM ports are "COM" & "COM". Note there are no numbers associated with COM.
Alas, still "COM Connect error" with either COM port.
