Horrendous journey home.....................
......................................... through the torrential rain, but the Bear never missed a beat over the 180 miles home. We had both front and rear fog lights on but the amount of vehicles that had no lights on was frightening. The amount of people that just think that their DRL’s at the front is enough is also frightening.
Still the Bear kept me safe and we still have ‘alf a tank left.
After breakfast this morning we went for walk around the bookshops in Ledbury, and I actually bought a book, “Ten squadrons of Hurricanes”. Looks interesting, love any stories to do with the Hawker Hurricane.
Time for a cuppa before we made our way back to the car. We had already loaded the Bear up. Then I was dropping Michael off at the station. Once done I returned to the petrol station and topped up the tank for the journey home.
TOTAL MILEAGE COVERED. 549 miles.
No oil or water used.
MPG. Oh! The noise.
Many thanks for reading. Will post up a few photo’s later on.
