Just to add to the list of replies:
Mine worked fine for a few months. When I pressed the button at the front the boot popped open. But after a few months it just stopped doing that. When I press the button the lock disengages. But then I need to give it a small nudge before it actually opens.
The only reason I keep it, is because it is still more handy then having to raise the entire boot by hand. A nudge is better then lifting it up completely.
But I still liked it much more when it worked straight after pushing the button.
