Getting a V6 inlet manifold open
Hi guys, want to restore an old V6 inlet manifold because the arm that opens the valves is completely out of it's bushes so I want to open it and see if it's saveable or not, but the question is? After opening it, restoring it and putting it all together, what should be used to perfectly seal the cover that's screwed in and that seals the manifold upon installing it?
By the way, I was thinking about a pretty basic system of never having problems again with the arm inside the manifold falling out of it's bushes ever again, maybe if people are interested will also do it for others here too for just a small recompensation, anyways, the only thing I need to know is a proper sealant to seal the cover on the back of the manifold before screwing it back in. Thank you guys.
