I agree with Jdwoodhou about the colour, as it captures the 1970s.
The MGB GT that I owned was Harvest Gold = -NAUGHTY WORD- brown.
Most restorations are "safe" colours such as Tartan Red, Old English White or British Racing Green.
I would enjoy it as it is.
