+1 for intercooler O rings. One of mine was so bad it had swelled and was half way up the outside of the pipe
. Lots of yuk to remove.
And yes, check/change the PCV, mine was swollen and solid
. If left can lead to nasty/expensive engine problems
.
Hopefully it's not clutch fluid from the slave......
Thankfully we have an "Arctic" here in the Midlands so "O" rings and PCV's are sorted very painlessly at a nano meeting

PS Something like Gunk should shift the muck. It it's extreme then try White Spirit - not environmentally friendly but it should do the trick.
