Does this not suggest that unless we take climate impacts of our ways seriously, most living things in places like Australia will die. There will be little water to drink due to the temperature increases. This may be a useful read. https://theconversation.com/seriousl...century-157875

Perhaps this is ultmimately how the planet will be saved - a massive reduction in consumption due to very little life remaining leading to a massive reduction in pollution.

Perhaps the 'deep greens' can see our ultimate destiny and are scared of what lies ahead?
