Joe Public were lied to, Joe Public were told at the time, they were being lied to, still they stayed at home, still they donned their masks, and so much worse, still they rolled up their sleeves for the injections.
It's now rudely apparent that the difference between a conspiracy theory and the truth is about six to eight months.
