That's a hard call
normally a dull, swelling ache is from varicoceles. You could always ask your GP to be referred for a ultrasound scan to see if you have any. Good luck.

Hi David, I suppose they may have done, nothing was ever mentioned though. I guess if this was the case, the lack of blood flow would have finished my testes off by now... here's wishing.
I didn't go through with the varicocele embolization in the end, I wasn't keen on the use of the metal coils. I've since been back for a follow up, they have now offered me a Varicocelectomy, this is surgery where they cut and tie off the swollen veins, its meant to be a higher success rate on right sided varicoceles.
