Had a pretty bad day yesterday.
Went to the hospital in the afternoon to see Mum in Law.
She was in quite a lot of pain and it transpires that she may have a blockage in her bowel as well as the best infection and dehydration she was originally brought in for.
She should be having further tests today and hopefully something can be done about it.
On the way home from hospital last night I pulled out on the dual carriageway to overtake a car and standing dead still in the outside lane was a small Deer.
Had no time to avoid it and we hit it at nearly 70 mph.
The Deer would have been killed instantly as we hit it straight on and went over it, but had no way of stopping on an unlit bit of carriageway with no hard shoulder
When there was somewhere safe to stop I went out to see what damage we had sustained .
Quite a lot it would seem.
Will be off to the garage this morning as apart from the bodywork damage I want to make sure all the steering, brakes, suspension etc are okay.
Then will get some quotes for the work and decide whether to go through the insurance or not.
Needless to say I won’t be going to work today.
