This is what I love (& hate) about this forum. Conflicting opinions lol

Perhaps a 3rd option? Aren't their some special jubilee clips avaliable that also have a smooth surface and place pressure on the hose more equally?

Are they similer to fuel pipe clips?

Also I think some of the higher quality turbo boost hose clips clamp down better too?
