I think the ankle bone sensitivity to pain is quite similar to the 'funny bone' of the elbow.
I also seem not to be susceptible to pain from fractures. I tall pair of steps collapsed under me at work, which resulted in a lower arm fracture - thing was I didn't know I just carried on working for a couple of hours, as it gradually swelled up. I slipped in the bath and fractured the index finger of my right hand, no pain - I just splinted it myself.
