Holy carp! Hmm I think it’d get scrapped at that price! I’ll let him know. I’m sure he said something about being told they could get a 2nd hand unit and programme that. But I don’t know if that’s the AA bloke, or the garage, or what. Bless him, he has no idea about anything other than checking fluids and tyres, so often what he says to me, might not actually be what he was told.
He was looking at getting a new car, so this might be the shove over the edge.
