No, just left it in, it's not doing any harm, can't think that I ever needed to move the seats when I didn't have my keys in the ignition.
I was just more concerned that when I swapped the seats over and tried to move them I thought the seats were maybe faulty so I was glad when I found out the originally Rover intended them to work with the relay and most likely Project Drive removed them.
