I dont think I have ever seen one, however, I think if you could get the laquer sanded down, and then stained it with a pine stain, finally coating with something like Sadolin Natur light. I dont know how this would last in this application though. However, we used in a job I worked in before, we used to stain mahogany doors with sadolin pine stain (not varnish) with one coat, then 2 coats of Natur light, to give an oak colour to the door. It was very popular, and (on doors lol), long lasting.
You can remove the wood trim to make it easy to sand. When removing the push button, there is a metal clip inside. Take note of its position then remove, and the wood should lift up.
I cannot find a picture of the doors, however they would be slightly lighter than this
