It just doesn't make sense Phil, you're saying the car was offered to someone on here for free ? But because that wasn't accepted, a rare pre-production S-reg is quietly sent to the crusher....another one of very few remaining cars gone forever
A simple advert on this forum, detailing all the money that had been spent, would have at least given someone to opportunity to save it from being scrapped and maybe even put back on the road. It just seems like such a waste of a rare model, especially when the owners were in this club
Surely, being a member here is all about preserving the cars and keeping them in the road ? And in fairness, you have to expect to spend a few £££'s once a vehicle is approaching it's 20th birthday - I've certainly spent a lot more than that on S542AOX and I'm still nowhere near finished yet.
