Hi Chaps,

So car was running fine then one day last week took longer to start. I didn’t think any about it until on the Friday it would start! the tank was less than quarter full.

Just as I gave up the car started so filled tank to half full. Car started okay but then struggled again later when engine warm, took 3-4 times turn over.

Then on the Monday started okay but seemed to take longer, then as pulling away from lights car cut out, engine management light came on, but started immediately after and managed to get to work.

Fault code “1190 rail pressure plausibility”.

With garage now but I’m convinced they are struggling to fix. I know there are lots of threads on here, but any guidance would be much appreciated.


I was convinced it was the in tank pump but they say not. I have a spare hp reg that I've given them to try but also rad corroded wires on pressure sensor??
