Default Thought this was amusing in the radio

Live Aid, you remember it all those years ago. Do you recall who was to benefit from the money raised? yea, people, the famine effected people of Africa. What colour were they likely to have been?

This on the radio, Wave 105 a few minutes ago. Stevie Wonder was invited to play Live Aid, but refused – he apparently thought there weren't enough African-American artists on the bill.

found it amusing.

A Google search also found this "he and Michael Jackson supposedly tried to organize a boycott of the event"

Michael Jackson, Prince, The Pointer Sisters , Stevie Wonder and Diana Ross all turned down the opportunity to perform.

what am I not understanding?
