Who did it for you ? Was it a local garage ? There are not many locally who I would trust with my car, because a lot of them say they know 'Rovers' but in truth they don't, and it can cause problems.



If you have found a good garage for Rover/MG we would like to know.

I got South Coast to do it for me. It's the first time I've used them - the workshop seemed pretty busy, and the guy seemed pretty knowledgeable. The car is running well again, which is great. A couple of question marks though: 1 they used an Oscaro crank pulley, not an OEM one. Anyone have any views as to longevity? Can't see them mentioned on the forum. Second question mark is over the handbrake adjustment they did, which hasn't really improved the efficiency - still takes six clicks. They say the shoes are worn but I wonder actually if it might be a stretched compensator...

Will be happy to use them again though for MOT and service later this year.
