Announcing the 15th National Meet
on Sunday 8th September 2013
Alongside a Spanner & Family Day
on Saturday 7th September
The Club's 15th National Meet will be held on
Sunday 8th September 2013
at
Aeroventure
South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum
Dakota Way
Airbourne Road
Doncaster
DN4 7NW
Between 10am and 5pm
The South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum exhibits a collection of aircraft
from the first airshow in Britain at Doncaster Racecourse in 1909,
to modern fast jets and civil light aircraft.
With aircraft which are unique in preservation,
alongside a whole host of familiar favourites,
and cockpits and interactive exhibits
there really is something for everyone
In addition to this, the previous day there will be an
unofficial spanner and family gathering where members can assist each other
in fettling their motors.
To be clear however, Saturday 7th September
will not be covered by the Owners Club Public Liability Insurance,
and any work undertaken by all participiants will be at their own risk,
with neither the club nor it's representatives
being held reponsible for any matters arising.
For anyone wishing to make a weekend of it,
caravan pitches and camping areas will be available on-site,
and I understand actros & Andy Willi will be organising an evening BBQ.
The club shop will be available for the Sunday National
and a raffle organised in time honoured fashion,
so it should be a great event,
why not come along and put names to faces,
and admire each others pride and joy?
The cost is £5.00 per day for cars which includes entry into the museum
Caravans £7.50 per night with electric hook up if required
Camping £5.00 per night with electric hook up if required
Toilets and showers are available 24hrs
The Premier Inn Doncaster Central East
is also nearby at Herton Way DN4 7NW
