It’s a bit like preventative maintenance, it doesn’t do any harm.
But don’t as some folks think putting a shot of Redex pruduces a miraculous cure for a tired engine. The same applies to changing from a regular oil to a high spec oil.
Results are only achieved over a period of time.
BTW I always use Redex or an equivalent fuel line cleaner regularly by putting a full bottle into a full tank of fuel.
