Many thanks for the suggested workshops where I might get my clutch replaced at a more acceptable cost.
I had been told that there was a firm in Derbyshire doing them as a special offer for a limited period at half the price I had been quoted.
I couldn't track them down nor could I reach the 75 owner who had had his done recently. So I am particularly indebted for the lead to Marshall Performance Motors in Burton who have agreed to do my clutch next week for £340.00.
They are still offering this price for a few more days so if your 75 clutch is suspect then act now and save a few bob!
