And before anyone says anything, the slave had gone noisy (metal slave) and the AP clutch had done around 1K miles, so that's why the clutch itself wasn't replaced. But when you change the slave if it's a worn clutch you might as well swap it as it's only a couple extra bolts.

The key word in your post is "them" -so 2 or more guys on the job - so 2 guys at 2 -2.5 hours for the job equates to 4-5 hours charging by the garage - surely ??
