Speak of the devil! I read about Manchester wanting to implement a ZEZ (zero emission zone) back in 2019 but the pandemic put it all on the back burner like other local authorities CAZ's.
We will know if this ZEZ is implemented at the end of this month.
"The strategy outlines plans to make Manchester a ‘well-connected and zero-carbon city.’ The central aim is for 90% of all trips to the city centre in the morning peak to be made on foot, by cycle or on public transport before 2040."
