Afternoon everyone,
I've come to the difficult decision to sell our 75, I'd rather it went to someone on the forums so it gets a good home! It's a lovely car, the interiors on these are so much nicer than anything modern!
Car is located in Stevenage.
A few details:
- Rover 75 Contemporary SE
- 1.8T Petrol
- Manual
- MOT until 20 May 2020
- Mileage currently 132510 but I am using the vehicle still - it won't increase much
- Dash readout shows service required in 10,000 miles - I last serviced it in the summer
- Black
- Full leather Sports seats
- Alcantara inserts on door cards
- Dark "wood" dash
- Electric passenger front seat
- Electric memory drivers seat (panel is a bit loose)
- Heated front seats
- Electric windows
- Electric and heated mirrors
- Dual zone climate control
Work done:
- New turbo about 5 years ago
- Head gasket done about 4 years ago - changed whilst it was weeping and before overheating
- PRT changed early last year I think as it had stuck closed
- New headlamps last year as the old ones had fogged over
- New condensor for air con
- New upgraded resistor for fan
- New exhaust a few years ago - genuine Rover backbox, literally the last one I could find for sale in the country
- New lower arm bushes and ARB drop links in the last couple of years
- Good tyres all round
Faults:
- Rear windscreen leaks
- Passenger side door actuator not working - I actually replaced this today with a second hand item that worked for about 5 activations and then failed
- Parking sensors working intermittently so they are currently unplugged as the noise was truly irritating
- CD multichanger doesn't work, but the radio is a CD player as well
The radio currently fitted doesn't come with the car for the advertised price - I'll refit the standard Rover radio/CD player. If you are interesting in the radio, I'll leave it in for an additional £300 - its JVC double din unit with AM/FM/DAB, Apple Carplay and Android Auto - I've been really impressed with it!
I'm looking around around £850 for the car.
Please PM me if you have any questions, or want some more photos etc.
