Although I agree .... as you had clamped off the hose, other parts of the system should not have been affected.
So, here's another silly one, are the bubbles appearing on the "upward" part of the clear tube as it leaves the nipple, or only on the downward part as it drops down to the collecting jar? Latter not being an issue (one of my pictures below)
And another. Try doing up the nipple and see how the pedal feels.
I'm trying ..... (very trying.... )
Perhaps you will need one of those "pressure solutions" in the end.

well after over two hours, and over 500ml of fluid and still see bubbles, In desperation I got er indoors to push the pedal down for me, A great rush of bubbles on the first push, another load on the second push, Third push no bubbles same with the fourth and fifth So I assume the air has been cleared. Went for a test drive and all seems fine
Oh and I couldnt see any bubbles in the tube as it is black
