I have now had three MRI's so I guess something of an old hand...

Nowt to it really 20 minutes, very, very noisy and you have to keep very still. The operators are fairly patient and will try again if you do move. The give you ear defenders to help keep the noise out and it can be a bit disorientating, not knowing if its you, or the machine is moving - its you and the table, the machine stays put. The defenders include a pipe to feed audio to you and you can speak to them. They also give you a panic button (a rubber bulb to squeeze), just in case.

I have had skull, prostate and kidneys scanned most recently. I am still waiting for the results from the latter MRI. Any problems, they let you know quickly, it has been a while, so likely no problems found.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.
