I recently picked up a 2019 Vauxhall Grandland X 1.2 turbo (petrol) - not my Car however i put the first 900 miles on the clock.

the engine seems decent - 130ps from a 1.2 and it sounds Good (3 cylinder I'm sure)

too much I don't like about New Cars tho - r.e this one in particular - auto wipers, auto lights, lane departure warning, start/stop, electronic Parking Brake, (occasional) Speed limit displayed (suggesting there is some kind of GPS Signal being sent/received) what feels like electronically assisted steering(?) (light but lacking feedback) Build Quality(feels like it's designed to be Recycled) Traction Control, Electronic Stability Control....... Can I not just Drive and be in control myself

I won't say the Grandland is my Nightmare Car - just ANY New Car

My 75 is the Car of my Dreams and my Nightmares
